OPTIMALISASI PENGGUNAAN BUKU TEKS OLEH GURU DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA

Abstrak

Optimization of the use of textbooks by teachers is the use of the use of textbooks in certain fields of study which are standard books, compiled by experts in the field for instructional purposes and objectives. Meanwhile, motivation is internal and external encouragement to students who are learning in a force that encourages students to do a behavior to achieve goals. This study uses quantitative methods with descriptive analysis types. This study was conducted in SD Negeri Bojongloa Kaler District with a population of 125 teachers. The sample collection technique uses Probability Sampling with the type of Simple Random Sampling based on the Sugiyono table with a significant sample of 100 teachers. Data collection was carried out using questionnaire instruments, documentation and interviews. The trial questionnaire instrument uses validity test and reliability test on 35 items of statement items. Recapitulation of the responses of respondents regarding the optimization of the use of textbooks, namely the actual total score of 6761, ideal score of 800, and the percentage of total score of responses of respondents on the 20 items of statements on the optimization of textbook use variables at 84.5%. Recapitulation of respondents 'responses about total student motivation from 15 statements,  namely   the   actual   score   5022,   ideal   score  of   6000,  and   the percentage of total scores of respondents' responses to the 15 items of statements on the variable student learning motivation was 83.7%.

Optimalisasi penggunaan buku teks oleh guru merupakan pemanfaatan penggunaan buku pelajaran dalam bidang studi tertentu yang merupakan buku standar, yang disusun oleh para pakar dalam bidang itu buat maksud dan tujuan instruksional. Sedangkan, motivasi adalah dorongan internal dan eksternal pada siswa yang sedang belajar dalam kekuatan yang mendorong siswa melakukan suatu tingkah laku untuk mencapai tujuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis analisis deskriptif. Penelian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri Kecamatan Bojongloa Kaler dengan populasi sebanyak 125 guru. Teknik pengumpulan sampel menggunakan Probablity Sampling dengan jenis Simple Random Sampling dengan berlandaskan pada tabel Sugiyono dengan signifikan diambil sampel sebanyak 100 guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan   instrumen   angket,   dokumentasi   dan   wawancara.   Uji   coba instrumen angket menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas pada 35 butir item pernyataan. Rekapitulasi hasil tanggapan responden tentang optimalisasi penggunaan buku teks yaitu total skor aktual 6761, skor ideal 800, dan persentase total skor tanggapan responden atas ke-20 butir pernyataan pada variabel optimalisasi penggunaan buku teks sebesar 84,5%. Rekapitulasi hasil tanggapan responden  tentang  motivasi  belajar  siswa  total  dari  15  pernyataan  yaitu  skor aktual 5022, skor ideal 6000, dan persentase total skor tanggapan responden atas ke-15 butir pernyataan pada variabel motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 83,7%.
