Abstract

The purpose of community service is to improve the competitiveness of palm sugar products through the certification of Household Food Product Permits (PIRT). The methods adopted to achieve these goals are through education, training, science and technology simulation, mentoring, and the design of applied appropriate technologies. The results obtained show that through the standardization of palm sugar products can increase product prices to reach 35%, and the acquisition of PIRT has been able to expand market opportunities to modern markets such as supermarkets and minimart
